Bollywood actress Malaika Arora has broken her silence following the announcement of her separation from actor Arjun Kapoor.
After enduring the loss of her father and maintaining silence on the separation, Malaika has now shared her perspective in an interview.
“I am a private person, and there are aspects of my life that I don’t wish to explain publicly,” she stated. She further added, “I will never choose social media as a platform to discuss my personal life. Whatever Arjun has said is entirely his prerogative.”
Reflecting on the past year, Malaika said, “It has been a challenging year for various reasons, but I believe it’s time to move forward from everything that happened. I am ready for a fresh start in the new year and in my life.”
For context, Malaika and Arjun had been close since 2018, following her divorce from ex-husband Arbaaz Khan. However, during a Diwali party this year, Arjun Kapoor declared, “I am single now,” marking the end of their relationship.
