Major Success in Increasing Local Oil and Gas Production

Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has achieved a major breakthrough in boosting local oil and gas production.
According to an OGDCL spokesperson, production has commenced from the Betani-2 well in Lakki Marwat district, a development that will further strengthen the country’s energy sector.
As per the official statement, the Betani-2 well is producing 610 barrels of oil per day along with 8.5 million cubic feet of gas daily. This gas production has been integrated into the Sui Northern network.
