Maalik Foundation, John Milton English Academy sign MoU to support youth language training in Mardan

MARDAN — A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Maalik Foundation and John Milton English Academy to promote English language learning and communication skills among young people in Mardan.

The agreement aims to provide structured training in English speaking and professional communication to help students strengthen their academic performance and improve career prospects. The Maalik Foundation–John Milton Academy MoU focuses on expanding access to language education and skill development opportunities for youth in the region.

The MoU was formally signed by Muhammad Fawad Anwar, General Secretary of Maalik Foundation, and Khatir Jan, Director of John Milton English Academy.

According to officials, the partnership will offer students learning support in spoken English, communication skills and professional language development, areas increasingly considered essential for higher education and employment opportunities.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Muhammad Fawad Anwar said communication skills and English proficiency play an important role in helping young people compete in academic and professional environments.

He said the initiative aims to equip students with practical skills that can help them access broader opportunities and participate more effectively in national and international platforms.

Officials noted that strengthening language and communication training can contribute to youth empowerment and capacity building in the education sector.

Dr. Junaid Noor, Chairman of Maalik Foundation, Engineer Syed Sher Shah, President of the foundation, and Javed Zaman, Education Secretary, were also present at the signing ceremony.
