The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by Rs14.73 per kilogram, setting the new rate at Rs294.73 per kilogram, according to an official notification.

The increase will raise household fuel costs, with the price of an 11.8-kilogram domestic LPG cylinder increasing by Rs173.86.

Following the adjustment, the price of a domestic cylinder has risen from Rs3,296 to Rs3,470.

New LPG Prices Effective November 1

According to the notification, the revised prices will take effect on November 1, 2026.

OGRA attributed the increase to a 6.47% rise in the Saudi Aramco contract price, a key factor in determining LPG rates.

The regulator has issued an official notification confirming the revised prices.

The increase is expected to add to household expenses, particularly for families and small businesses that rely on LPG for cooking and other daily needs.
