Lahore — LONGi, a global leader in solar technology, has launched its Certified Installer Program in Pakistan, marking a major milestone in the formalization and professionalization of the country’s solar installation sector. The initiative aims to enhance technical expertise, recognize top-performing professionals, and build a nationwide community of skilled solar installers.
Certified Installer and Elite Installer Tracks
The program operates under two tracks—“LONGi Certified Installer” and “LONGi Elite Installer”—and combines structured training, certification, and performance-based rewards. It reflects LONGi’s commitment to fostering competency-driven growth in Pakistan’s renewable energy industry.
“At LONGi, we believe the foundation of a sustainable solar industry lies in skilled, trusted professionals,” said Osman Mohammad Maud, Head of LONGi Pakistan & Afghanistan Branch and Head of Technical Operations for the Central Asia Region. “This program not only builds technical capacity but also creates a community where excellence and innovation are recognized and rewarded.”
Training Modules and Installer Platform Benefits
Participants begin their journey with foundational e-learning modules covering solar systems and photovoltaic (PV) technology. These are followed by hands-on workshops assessed by the company’s technical team. A dedicated online platform serves as the central hub for training, certification resources, and interactive learning.
Certified installers gain access to exclusive benefits, including visibility on the installer platform, inclusion in a whitelist of approved professionals, and priority access to training events and project opportunities. The Elite Installer Program further rewards top performers who consistently use its high-efficiency modules, such as the Hi-MO X10 series. Rankings will be based on total installed capacity between January 1 and November 21, 2025, with the top eight professionals receiving cash prizes and national recognition.
Annual Gala, Global Engagement, and Newsletter
Outstanding installers will also be invited to attend the annual gala hosted by the company and participate in an exclusive visit to the company’s headquarters in China, offering deeper engagement with the brand’s global innovation ecosystem.
To foster ongoing collaboration and professional development, LONGi will publish a regular Installer Community Newsletter featuring updates on workshops, new technologies, and project opportunities.
Impact on Pakistan’s Solar Workforce
As Pakistan’s solar market continues to grow, the Certified Installer Program represents a strategic move to standardize installation practices and empower the professionals driving the country’s clean energy transition. Interested installers and companies can register through LONGi’s official website. The deadline for Elite Installer submissions is November 21, 2025.
This initiative is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping a more skilled, connected, and innovation-ready solar workforce across Pakistan.
