Pind Dadan Khan: The Lillah-Jhelum Dual Carriageway project will be completed by 2025. We are grateful to the Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, who gave this project ownership under Punjab’s jurisdiction; otherwise, it would have remained delayed.
Speaking at a ceremony, Bilal Azhar Kayani, Member of the National Assembly from Jhelum city, further stated that the province has not only taken over this project but also resolved its funding issues. FWO has been lined up as the contractor, and machinery has started mobilizing. From the beginning of February, work will progress with full force. Work will initially commence in critical areas where there are large mounds of soil or other issues.
