SWAT: Lawyer Malik Arshad Khan including his elder brother Malak Mustajab Khan were killed in Gul Kadda area of Swat District while they were going to appear in court on Tuesday. Police officials confirmed.
According to police officials, Malik Arshad Khan Advocate and his brother Malik Mustajab Khan were shot dead when they were going to appear in court by riding a rickshaw near their house at Gul Kadda area of Saidu Sharif police station.
Unknown motorcycle riders opened fire on the two brothers riding in a rickshaw and as a result, both brothers were killed on the spot
.Rescue 1122 personnel shifted the bodies of the deceased to Saidu Teaching Hospital in an ambulance.
According to the police, the father of the deceased, Malik Khawaja Muhammad Khan, has claimed the murder of his sons against Zafar Ali, son of Abdul Khaliq, resident of Engro Dhirai, Fazal Rabi, resident of Main Bazaar, Mingora, Malik Sardar Ali, son of Malik Sharif Khan resident of Mingora, Malik Gohar Ali, Malik Mehboob Ali, son of Sharif Khan, and Taimur, son of Malik Sardar Ali.
According to the text of the FIR, the plaintiff, Khawaja Muhammad Khan, told the police that his sons were going to appear in court for a date when the accused opened fire on them.
The Saidu Sharif police have registered a case against the accused under Sections 320-34 of the PPC and started an investigation.
