Lawah: Assistant Commissioner Lawah Saeed Ahmed has said that the preparations to privatize the sanitation system in Tehsil Lawah are complete from next month.
Rawalpindi Waste Management Committee has appointed Manager and Assistant Manager for Tehsil Lawah.
While the sites for the dumping station are being finalised
Assistant Commissioner Lawah Saeed Ahmed said that the sanitation system will be privatized to provide convenience to the citizens of the entire Tehsil Lawah.
Earlier sanitation facility was available only in the areas within the limits of Municipal Committee Lawa
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz’s vision is the main aspect of the real objectives of a clean Punjab that all the people of the area should have access to the best and affordable sanitation facilities.
This facility will be absolutely free for the first three months
And all its payment will be the responsibility of Punjab government
After consultation, garbage tax can also be imposed across the province
But its characteristics are still not clear
