LAHORE: Lahore Smart City (Private) Limited and the Institute of Contemporary Studies (ICS) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a modern educational facility within Lahore Smart City, aimed at promoting academic excellence and student development.
The partnership seeks to create an integrated learning environment focused on quality education, innovation, character building and the development of practical skills needed for the modern world.
According to a joint statement, the collaboration will combine Lahore Smart City’s infrastructure with ICS’s academic expertise to support students, families and the wider community. The initiative is designed to foster intellectual growth, creativity, confidence and responsible citizenship.
Focus on future-ready education
Under the agreement, the two organizations plan to develop an academic model that prepares students for both educational achievement and future professional challenges.
The proposed framework includes a focus on teaching and learning standards, student engagement, digital literacy, professional development, social-emotional learning and continuous quality improvement.
Officials said the initiative aims to provide students with access to a learning environment that encourages innovation, critical thinking and lifelong learning.
