LAHORE: Galib Market Police arrested seven men and women during a raid on a private hostel in Lahore following a tip-off about alleged unlawful activities, police said.
According to police, the raid was conducted on confidential information, during which the seven suspects were allegedly found involved in what authorities described as immoral activities.
A case has been registered against the arrested individuals, while the investigation has been handed over to the Investigation Wing, officials said.
Police warn against unlawful activities
An SP said authorities would not tolerate alleged immoral activities being conducted under the guise of guest houses and salons.
The officer added that action against such establishments would continue as part of efforts to curb unlawful activities in the city.
