Upon arrival in Thandiani, the participants engaged in various eco-friendly activities including camping, a tree plantation drive, and a cleanliness campaign, reflecting a strong message of environmental responsibility. At the closing ceremony, KPCTA Director Admin and Finance, Umar Khan, served as the chief guest and distributed certificates among the participating bikers. Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized the significance of adventure tourism in boosting the province’s tourism industry. “Bike tourism is a low-cost, high-impact initiative that can help unlock access to the lesser-known scenic destinations of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” said Umar Khan.

Captain of the Peshawar Bikers Club, Sajid Ali Khan, reiterated the club’s mission to promote sustainable tourism. He said the initiative was not only about exploring new places but also about preserving them. “Our message to fellow travelers is to take responsibility for the environment. Through tree plantation and cleanliness efforts, we aim to set a precedent for all tourists,” he stated.

He also announced plans to continue organizing similar activities across other tourist hotspots in KP, combining adventure with conservation. Thandiani, located in the northeast of Abbottabad district in the foothills of the Himalayas, remains a year-round destination for both domestic and international tourists. Surrounded by thick pine forests and panoramic views, it served as the ideal backdrop for the rally’s concluding events. The KPCTA continues to support such initiatives that not only boost tourism but also instill a sense of responsibility towards nature among visitors.
