KP Government Dispatches 1500kg of Emergency Medicines to Parachinar via Helicopter

Under the directive of Advisor to Health, Ehtesham Ali, another consignment of emergency medicines has been dispatched to Parachinar. In his statement, the Health Advisor emphasized that this shipment was urgently arranged to address the immediate healthcare needs of Upper Kurram. Weighing 1500 kilograms, the medicines were delivered to Parachinar in a single flight using the government’s helicopter.

The Health Advisor elaborated that the consignment includes antibiotics, syrups, painkillers, and essential medicines for children. These supplies have been officially handed over to the Medical Superintendent of Parachinar. He assured that until ground routes are restored, the supply of medicines will continue via helicopters to ensure uninterrupted healthcare services for the affected population. He further announced that the next batch of medicines would be dispatched next week.
The Health Advisor reiterated the commitment of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to prioritize the basic needs of its citizens and to utilize all available resources for resolving the challenges faced by the affected regions.
