The Directroate General , drug control and Pharmacy Services, Health Department in support of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chemist and druggiest union organized the awareness campaign for the Use of norcotic medicines in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The drug control team peshawar along with the chemists arranged peaceful walk in the hub of medicines market situated at namak Mandi. The sale of norcotic medicines and its use were highlighted special emphasis it’s irrational or controlled use strictly patients and only allowed or advise by doctor through prescription. The Directorate General drug control and Pharmacy services is constantly
monitor the sale and use of norcotic medicines in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and any illegality or sale of norcotic drugs without prescription are dealt through The Drug Act and Rules. The chemists also extended their kind support to not involve in the sale of norcotics medicines without prescription
