Tarbela Ghazi: Prominent political figure of Ghazi, Khanzada Junaid Zaman, widely known as “Joni,” has announced his departure from the “Jahazon Wala Group” and joined Gohar Nawaz Khan’s “Awami Ittehad” along with his faction, Dhara Jamba. Explaining his decision, Khanzada Junaid Zaman stated that the “Jahazon Wala Group” had disappointed him, prompting him to end their years-long association and align with Gohar Nawaz Khan.
The joining ceremony took place yesterday at Dera Khalid Aziz Khan in Ghazi, attended by a large number of locals, including Mudassir Jameel Khan (commonly known as Shani Khan), Changez Khan, Zubair Khan, Adeel Khan, Rumi Tahir Khaili, and Athar Hussain Khan.
Addressing the gathering, Gohar Nawaz Khan emphasized that his bond with Khanzada Junaid Zaman would remain unbreakable. He stated, “This relationship is now a matter of honor for me.” Avoiding direct criticism of the “Jahazon Wala Group,” he remarked that former MPA Faisal Zaman brought nothing but deprivation to the Ghazi region. Furthermore, he criticized the current MPA for being disconnected from the public’s concerns, accusing him of prioritizing personal enjoyment of his position over addressing the issues of his constituency.
Gohar Nawaz Khan expressed confidence that, despite his previous electoral defeat, his consistent engagement with the public has strengthened his support base. He believes that due to the lack of public backing for the current government and MPA, the future belongs to leaders who truly serve the people.
