Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Agenda, an open court was held at Government Higher Secondary School Khal, supervised by Assistant Commissioner Timergara, Mr. Zaid Safi.The event was attended by DSP, EXEN Irrigation Shahid Ali, SDO Irrigation Tayyab Saeed, WMO Water Management Zia-ul-Haq, Behror Shah of Social Welfare, Bahadur Zeb (SHO Police Khal), Mushtaq Ahmed from Local Government, Muhammad Waqas TMO Khal, Sajjad Ali from C&W, and heads of all other departments. Community elders, representatives of welfare organizations, social workers, and members of the public also participated.During the open court, several public issues were addressed on the spot by the heads of relevant government departments. Local elders raised concerns about traffic and encroachment in Khal Bazaar, education, water supply, drug abuse, shortage of teaching staff in educational institutions, repair of broken tube wells, and the crackdown against substandard food items (such as snacks). They also highlighted complaints regarding billing, unannounced prolonged load-shedding, and various other public issues.
Assistant Commissioner Zaid Safi provided detailed insights into the various tasks under the Chief Minister’s Public Agenda. He emphasized that the purpose of such open courts is to establish coordination between the people of remote areas and government departments and to provide an easy platform for resolving their problems. He highlighted the critical importance of public support in addressing many issues.
The Assistant Commissioner of Timergara, Mr. Zaid Safi, responded comprehensively to public grievances linked to the district administration. He directed officials of all departments to ensure immediate and effective action on the complaints raised during the session.
SHO Khal stated that individuals involved in drug trafficking should be reported to the local police, and the identity of the informant will be kept confidential. Immediate action will be taken against drug dealers with the public’s support. He urged the community to socially boycott those involved in drug trafficking. Efforts are also underway to improve traffic management, and local elders were urged to play their role in eradicating crimes at the grassroots level. He emphasized that the police are the servants of the public.The community elders of Khal expressed their gratitude to the provincial government and district administration for organizing the open court in their area.
