Bollywood stars Kareena Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan are reportedly set to share the screen again after nearly 15 years, creating excitement among fans of the two popular actors.
According to Indian media reports citing sources, Kareena Kapoor is set to make a special appearance in Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming action thriller King. The two actors are reportedly expected to feature together in a special song titled “Daddy Cool,” which is scheduled to be filmed in South Africa.
Sources described the song as a major musical highlight of the film and said it will bring Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor together in a presentation unlike anything audiences have previously seen from the two stars.
The song has reportedly been composed by Sachin-Jigar and will also feature an international artist whose identity is being kept secret for now.
Kareena Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan have previously appeared together in films including Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Ra.One. Their reported reunion in King is therefore expected to be a special moment for their fans.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, King stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. The film also features Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma and Raghav Juyal.
The action thriller is scheduled for release on December 24, 2026.
The reported collaboration between Kareena and Shah Rukh has generated considerable anticipation, particularly because the pair have not had a major on-screen reunion together for many years.
