Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut is back in the spotlight after sharing a cryptic Instagram post that many social media users believe was aimed at fellow actor Sonakshi Sinha, although Kangana did not mention anyone by name.
In her post, Kangana clarified that she does not body-shame people based on their physical appearance. However, she went on to criticize an unnamed actress, commenting on her clothing and manner of speaking, prompting widespread speculation online.
Kangana’s Remarks Draw Attention
Kangana wrote that the actress now dresses and speaks “like a pickpocket,” while also supporting people participating in protests. She added that the actress had previously carried herself with greater elegance and suggested that her style and public image had changed.
The actor also said she would be willing to help the unnamed actress improve her styling if needed, describing her comments as advice rather than criticism of physical appearance.
Why Are Fans Linking the Post to Sonakshi Sinha?
Although Kangana did not identify the actress, many social media users speculated that the remarks were directed at Sonakshi Sinha.
The speculation follows Sonakshi’s social media posts from last month, in which she expressed support for student protesters at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar and praised Generation Z. In one of the videos, she appeared wearing a T-shirt, shorts, and a cap while celebrating the students’ success.
Because Kangana’s post referred to an actress’s clothing style and support for protesters, many online users connected the comments to Sonakshi. However, there is no official confirmation that Kangana’s remarks were directed at Sonakshi Sinha.
