South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada has achieved a historic milestone in Test cricket, setting a new world record for the fewest deliveries needed to take 350 wickets.
The 31-year-old reached the landmark during the third Test against Australia at Newlands in Cape Town.
According to the report, Rabada claimed his 350th Test wicket after bowling just 13,808 deliveries, making him the fastest bowler in Test history to reach the milestone in terms of balls bowled.
Rabada Breaks Dale Steyn’s Record
Rabada surpassed the previous record held by fellow South African pace legend Dale Steyn, who required 14,719 deliveries to reach 350 Test wickets.
The achievement further highlights Rabada’s impact as one of South Africa’s leading fast bowlers, known for his pace, aggression and ability to trouble batters across different conditions.
By reaching the milestone in fewer deliveries than Steyn, Rabada has added another significant achievement to his international career.
