K-Electric board appoints Adeeb Ahmad as interim CEO

KARACHI (Feb 13, 2026): The board of directors of K-Electric has appointed Adeeb Ahmad as Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with immediate effect, replacing Syed Moonis Abdullah Alvi.

The decision was taken during a board meeting held on February 13, 2026, and follows an earlier announcement submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on February 6, 2026.

According to the company’s filing, Adeeb Ahmad will assume the role of interim CEO effective immediately. No further details were disclosed regarding the duration of the interim appointment.

K-Electric is the primary power utility responsible for generation, transmission and distribution of electricity in Karachi.
