District and Sessions Judge of Haripur, Shehnaz Hameed Khattak, stated that alongside societal modernization, the judicial system is also leveraging advanced technology to ensure the swift dispensation of justice. In this regard, the Judicial Complex in Ghazi has been permanently connected via video link, integrating it with courts across the country.
During a simple yet dignified ceremony in Ghazi, District and Sessions Judge Shehnaz Hameed Khattak formally inaugurated the video link system, which connects the Judicial Complex Ghazi with the Supreme Court, High Courts, and other judicial institutions nationwide—an unprecedented initiative at the tehsil level.
Accompanying her at the event was Senior Civil Judge (Admin) Haripur, Shiraz Tariq, while Additional District and Sessions Judge Ghazi, Zafarullah Khan, Civil Judge Ghazi, Haroon Rasheed, Family Court Judge, Muhammad Saqib Jan, along with the cabinet and members of the Tehsil Bar Association Ghazi, hosted the event.
Speaking after the inauguration of the video link facility, the District and Sessions Judge emphasized that the judicial system is adopting modern technology to expedite legal proceedings. With the implementation of this system, a structured framework has been established, allowing lawyers from Tehsil Ghazi, as well as legal practitioners from any part of the country, to represent their cases in the Judicial Complex Ghazi via video link before the Supreme Court, High Courts, and other courts nationwide.
