Islamabad: Jubilee Life Insurance has signed an agreement to become the title sponsor of the 21st Karachi United School Championship (KUSC), an inter-school football tournament organized by Karachi United, officials said.
Tournament provides platform for school-level football
KUSC is among Karachi’s long-running school football tournaments and involves student participation from various educational institutions. The championship provides structured competition for school students and focuses on organized participation in football at the grassroots level.
Company officials outline rationale for sponsorship
Commenting on the partnership, Farhan Faridi, Group Head Retail Operations, Marketing and Administration at Jubilee Life Insurance, said the sponsorship aligns with the company’s involvement in sports-related initiatives and school-level activities.
Karachi United highlights focus on inclusion and expansion
Ali Atta, Director Football at Karachi United, said the partnership between Jubilee Life Insurance and KUSC would support the continuation of the school championship and assist in providing opportunities for student participation from different backgrounds. He added that Karachi United aims to expand the championship to a broader level in the future.
According to the organizers, the collaboration is intended to support school-level football through organized tournaments and continued competition. The championship is expected to proceed as scheduled under the new title sponsorship.
