ISLAMABAD, June 22, 2026: Jubilee Life Insurance hosted an inclusive event under its “Lights. Camera. Inclusion.” campaign to honour parents and caregivers of persons with disabilities for their role in supporting personal, social and professional growth.
The initiative brought together persons with disabilities, their families, community partners and representatives from organisations including ConnectHear, NOWPDP, Karachi Vocational Training Centre and Karachi Down Syndrome Program. The event was designed to mark Mother’s Day and Father’s Day through an inclusive movie experience.
Jubilee Life said the campaign focused on recognising the families and support systems that help persons with disabilities overcome challenges and pursue opportunities. The event included participants from Jubilee Life, KVTC and KDSP, along with members of the wider Jubilee Life community.
The company said the gathering aimed to highlight inclusion as a shared social responsibility, shaped not only by workplace policies and programmes but also by understanding, human connection and community support.
Javed Ahmed, Managing Director and CEO of Jubilee Life Insurance, said parents and caregivers often play a central role in helping persons with disabilities overcome barriers and reach their potential.
“Through this initiative, we wanted to celebrate those individuals whose contributions are rarely in the spotlight but whose impact is immeasurable,” he said.
Farukh Iftekhar, Group Head HRMD at Jubilee Life Insurance, said inclusion extends beyond the workplace and includes the families whose perseverance, advocacy and support contribute to the achievements of persons with disabilities.
The initiative is part of Jubilee Life’s broader Diversity, Equity and Inclusion agenda and aligns with the company’s Environmental, Social and Governance commitments.
Jubilee Life said it would continue working with partner organisations to support accessibility, inclusion and opportunities for persons with disabilities and their families.
