ISLAMABAD: Member of National Assembly Anjum Aqeel Khan said that modernization of all commercial centers is an urgent need and assured that they will work in coordination with Islamabad Chambers of Commerce and Industry for the development of the federal capital.
He said this at the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected office bearers of the F/8 Markaz Merchants Association. Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari attended the ceremony as the guest of honor.

He reiterated that he would give back to the business community by addressing its critical issues regarding markets and federal capital development. He further said that during his previous tenure, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had completed several mega projects in Islamabad and now several similar projects are being considered to start which will play a key role in the beautification of the capital city.
Anjum Aqeel added that under the dynamic leadership of Ahsan Bakhtawari, ICCI is playing a significant role in solving community problems and facilitating business for which it deserves recognition. Addressing the ceremony, Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari said that F/8 Markaz is the most important business center of the capital and it should now be fully operational after shifting the District Courts and that ICCI will play its due role in this regard without fail.
He expressed the hope that the newly elected leadership of Islamabad would formulate a policy for the modernization of the capital after consulting all stakeholders and the federal government would provide full financial support to complete major projects in the capital.
