Deputy Chairman of the Police and Civil Administration Committee FPCCI Zubair Taimoor has lauded the Islamabad Police for making exemplary security and traffic arrangements during the 9th Muharram processions in the Islamabad

The mourning procession was held to commemorate the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) who sacrificed his life in the Battle of Karbala for the sake of truth and justice. These processions hold immense religious and historical significance for the Muslim community, particularly the followers of the Ahl-e-Bait.

The Islamabad Traffic Police ensured smooth vehicular movement by providing timely alternate routes to commuters and maintaining a disciplined traffic flow across the city. Their efforts greatly minimized public inconvenience during the Muharram procession and were widely appreciated by citizens.

Zubair Taimoor added that the Islamabad Police have set a positive example for other cities to follow, showcasing how effective leadership and coordination can lead to peaceful and well-managed religious events.
