Infinix to launch NOTE 60 series with Snapdragon-powered smartphones

LAHORE — Smartphone maker Infinix has announced plans to introduce Qualcomm’s Snapdragon mobile platforms in its upcoming NOTE 60 Series, marking the first time the company’s smartphones will be powered by Snapdragon chipsets.

The move signals a shift in Infinix’s platform strategy as the company expands its collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies to improve performance, power efficiency and integrated features across its devices. The NOTE 60 Series is expected to bring the Snapdragon-powered innovation to the brand’s smartphone lineup, aiming to enhance gaming performance, imaging capabilities and artificial intelligence features for users.

Collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies

Infinix said it is working with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. on system-level optimizations to better integrate chipset capabilities within its devices. The collaboration focuses on improving core areas such as processing speed, battery efficiency, gaming performance and AI-driven functions.

According to the company, combining Qualcomm’s semiconductor expertise with Infinix’s product design and user interface development is intended to deliver more consistent and stable performance across devices.

Expansion of Snapdragon platforms

The introduction of Snapdragon platforms in smartphones follows Infinix’s earlier adoption of the technology in its tablet lineup. The company said its tablets using Snapdragon processors received positive market feedback, encouraging the brand to expand the platform into additional product categories.

Tony Zhao, Chief Executive Officer of Infinix, said the partnership with Qualcomm Technologies is part of the company’s effort to strengthen hardware and software integration while expanding its technology ecosystem.

“With Snapdragon platforms and technologies, we aim to deliver greater innovation and quality for customers globally,” Zhao said.

The company said the NOTE 60 Series will serve as a flagship showcase developed with industry partners, focusing on performance, design, imaging and audio-visual capabilities supported by Snapdragon technology.
