Rawalpindi — Pakistani security forces killed five Indian sponsored terrorists during a targeted operation in Khuzdar District, Balochistan. The militants operated under Fitna al Hindustan, a proxy group backed by India and known for orchestrating attacks across the region.
The operation began on the night of 14/15 September after troops received actionable intelligence. In response, they moved swiftly to intercept the terrorists and engaged them in a fierce firefight. As a result, all five militants were eliminated.
Following the clash, security personnel seized a cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives. These materials revealed the group’s intent to carry out further attacks. Consequently, teams initiated a sanitization sweep to eliminate any remaining threats in the area.
According to the military media wing ISPR, the terrorists had previously carried out multiple violent incidents targeting civilians and infrastructure. Investigators are now examining the recovered items to trace supply routes and identify collaborators. Moreover, the findings may help disrupt future operations planned by hostile proxies.
ISPR reiterated that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully committed to defending national sovereignty and dismantling networks of Indian sponsored terrorists. The successful strike in Khuzdar, therefore, demonstrated Pakistan’s resolve and sent a clear message to foreign-backed elements operating within its borders.
Earlier that day, a separate incident underscored the cost of this ongoing fight. An improvised explosive device detonated during a sanitization mission in the Sher Bandi area of Kech District. Tragically, the blast killed five personnel, including Captain Waqar Ahmed and four other soldiers from various districts.
In light of this loss, the urgency of the follow-up operation in Khuzdar intensified. Security forces responded decisively, neutralizing the threat and continuing operations in surrounding areas to locate additional militants linked to Fitna al Hindustan.
Ultimately, these coordinated actions reaffirm Pakistan’s unwavering determination to eradicate Indian sponsored terrorism and honor the sacrifices made in its defense.
