New Delhi, the capital city of India on Friday topped the world’s most polluted cities.
The data of the global website Air Quality Index, New Delhi was ranked first among the world’s most polluted cities with 802 particulate matter meters of air pollution.
As per the global website AQI, Lahore was second with 780 particulate matter meters of air pollution, while Dhaka was third with 218 particulate matter meters of air pollution.
Among Pakistani cities, Lahore was first with 780 particulate matter meters, Multan was second with 777 particulate matter meters, and Rawalpindi was third with 312 particulate matter meters.
Air pollution in the Gulberg area of Lahore was recorded at 1414 particulate matter meters.
