Speaking exclusively to APP, she said that today’s Pakistan is moving towards improvement due to the hard work and policies of the federal and Punjab governments.

The federal government, she noted, is paying special attention to economic revival, reforms in the energy sector, and education and health projects. She added that investors’ confidence is being restored and practical measures are being taken to control inflation and provide relief to the public.

Highlighting the performance of the Punjab government, Sajida Farooq Tarar said that welfare projects, upgradation of hospitals, provision of modern educational facilities, and women empowerment programmes are rapidly underway in the province.

She added that subsidies for farmers, road construction and repair, and clean drinking water projects are also among Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s priorities.

She said Independence Day conveys the message that we must promote national unity and mutual love so that Pakistan can become a strong, prosperous, and developed country in the world.

She paid rich tribute to the martyrs and veterans of the nation and prayed that Allah Almighty keep Pakistan everlasting and protect it from all conspiracies and unrest.
