In the jurisdiction of Lilla Police Station, unidentified assailants opened fire on two motorcyclists, resulting in the death of one person on the spot and injuries to the other. The incident appears to be the result of an old enmity. The deceased has been identified as Muhammad Akhtar, while the identity of the injured person remains unknown. He is said to be from Dhoke Burj village in Chakwal District. The two individuals had entered the Lilla area, reportedly for some personal work, when they were attacked. The injured man managed to reach the Lilla Health Center with the help of bystanders.
