KARACHI — In a landmark move that signals its full-scale entry into the technology sector, the IMARAT Group of Companies, a name long associated with real estate excellence, is set to make a major statement at the 26th ITCN Asia. From September 23–25, 2025, at Expo Centre Karachi, IMARAT will lead the Proptech Pakistan showcase, underscoring its commitment to shaping the country’s digital economy.

This announcement is not just symbolic—it reflects years of strategic investment and development. Over time, the IMARAT Group of Companies has built a dedicated tech vertical with more than 100 professionals. Together, they’ve developed a powerful suite of solutions. Chief among them is the proprietary Land Information System (LIS), a sophisticated tool for land bank management and investment planning. By digitizing and analyzing planned areas across Pakistan, LIS enables transparent decision-making and unlocks new economic potential.

Moreover, the exhibition will feature innovations from IMARAT’s flagship brands, Graana.com and Propmax.ai.  These include AI-based urban and architectural planners, as well as comprehensive CRM systems. Each tool formalizes and professionalizes Pakistan’s real estate sector. Notably, this strategic shift comes at a pivotal moment. The global proptech market, currently valued at $30 billion, is projected to exceed $100 billion by 2030—with Pakistan well-positioned to benefit.

“Pakistan’s future depends on its ability to embrace and lead in the digital economy,” said Shafiq Akbar, Chairman of the IMARAT Group of Companies. “We’ve spent years building the technological foundations to solve the industry’s core challenges—transparency, informal practices, and data gaps. As a result, we’re creating a more stable, trustworthy, and efficient real estate market. This will attract both local and foreign investment and ultimately drive economic growth.”

In addition, Farhan Javed, Group Director at IMARAT and Graana.com, emphasized the importance of integration. “Historically, the technology and real estate sectors have operated in silos. However, we’re here to bridge that gap. Our team at Propmax.ai developed the infrastructure that supports every aspect of the real estate value chain. While public portals are visible, they represent only the tip of the iceberg. What we’re showcasing at ITCN Asia is a comprehensive digital ecosystem. It empowers developers, investors, and end-users to make informed decisions.”

By embedding technology into every stage of the property lifecycle, the IMARAT Group of Companies aims to unlock untapped value, accelerate economic progress, and position Pakistan as a rising force in global proptech.
