In India, a man set a car on fire with his wife inside after discovering her traveling with a male friend.

According to Indian media, the incident occurred in the state of Kerala, where a woman named Aneela was traveling in a car with a male companion. This enraged her husband, Padma Rajan.

Police reported that the husband followed his wife’s car and intercepted it within the jurisdiction of the Kollam City East Police Station. In a fit of rage, he poured petrol on the car and set it ablaze, severely injuring both Aneela and her friend.

The injured were rushed to the hospital, but Aneela succumbed to her injuries during treatment, while her friend remains under medical care.

Police have arrested the suspect and are pursuing legal action in connection with the incident.
