SWAT: An accused killed his married cousin along with a non-male in the name of honor in the Gujjar Bunr area of Matta Tehsil in Swat District last night. Police officials confirmed.
SHO Police Station Matta Inspector Saifullah said that the incident took place late at night in the Gujjar Bunr, where Mst (S) wife of Umar Rahim, present abroad and a non-male, Thirty-year-old Irfanullah, son of Rahim Shah,resident of Gujjar Bunr, were shot dead.
The police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Matta for postmortem. he said.
Saifullah further said that, the police, based on the statements and evidence of the family in their complaint, have registered a case under the section of honor killing ( 302-311) against the woman’s cousin, accused Fazal Rahim, son of Muhammad Rehman, and have started searching for him.
According to the police, the deceased woman was married to Umar Rahim, who lived abroad ten years ago and has no children. Police have started further investigation.
