High-Level Review Meeting on Development Projects Held Under Chairmanship of KP Food Minister Zahir Shah Toru in Mardan. Timely completion of development projects and corruption free governance is the top priority of KP Government: Zahir Shah Toru. A high-level review meeting focusing on the timely execution, quality assurance, and transparent governance of development projects in Mardan was held under the chairmanship of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Food Zahir Shah Toru at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner Office, Mardan.
The meeting discussed in detail the progress of ongoing development projects, the issi being faced, and possible actionable strategies for effective resolution. Senior district officers from relevant departments including the Deputy Commissioner Mardan, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance & Planning), PKHA, SNGPL, PESCO, Sports Department, TMA Mardan, Mardan Development Authority (MDA), C&W, Public Health Engineering, and Food Department were present in the meeting.
During the meeting, the Minister was given a comprehensive briefing on key development initiatives underway in the district. These include the dualization of Toru to Mardan Road, construction and rehabilitation of public parks, sanitation and cleanliness drives, installation and maintenance of street lights along N-45 and other major roads, upgradation of sports grounds, construction of a gymnasium in Sheikh Maltoon Town, and solid waste management systems.
Addressing the meeting, Zahir Shah Toru emphasized that the provincial government is fully committed to ensuring the timely and efficient completion of all development projects. He stated that all issues will be resolved on a priority basis and instructed the concerned departments to strictly adhere to timelines, ensure high standards of work, and uphold the principles of good governance throughout all planning, execution, and monitoring phases. Shah further reiterated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur the KP Government’s core mission is to ensure a corruption-free administrative system. He warned that any officer or official found involved in corruption will face strict disciplinary action without exception.
