Health Advisor Ihtesham Ali has assured that uninterrupted medical services and timely delivery of medicines are being provided across all health facilities in Kurram. He stated that sufficient quantities of medicines are available at the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Parachinar and all Basic Health Units (BHUs) in the region.

Speaking about the progress, the advisor highlighted that DHQ Parachinar has recorded the highest Outpatient Department (OPD) attendance in its history. Since December 13, more than 16,000 patients have been treated and provided with medicines, with a significant proportion of these being women and children.

For those unable to visit the hospital, medicines are being delivered to their homes based on OPD prescriptions. Additionally, insulin and other medicines for diabetic patients are scheduled to be dispatched on Monday. The health department has even sent essential supplies such as diapers for children.

Advisor Ihtesham Ali reiterated his commitment to ensuring a steady supply of medicines and medical services until the routes are fully operational.
