PESHAWAR: Seventy students donated blood for patients suffering from thalassemia and other blood disorders during a voluntary blood donation camp organised at Islamia College Peshawar by Hamza Foundation in collaboration with the Muslim Students Federation.
The camp was aimed at supporting patients who require regular blood transfusions while also raising awareness among students about thalassemia prevention, screening and the importance of premarital testing.
MSF Peshawar President Azlan Bacha, General Secretary Uzair Khan and other members helped organise the drive and encouraged students to participate.
