Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs has directed private Hajj operators to activate their Hajj 2027 packages on the Hajj Management System by August 31, warning that unused quotas could be withdrawn.
The ministry said operators that fail to activate packages within the given deadline may face action, including the possible confiscation or reallocation of their allotted quota. Unused seats could potentially be transferred to other eligible Hajj companies or the government scheme.
Under the Hajj 2027 private scheme, pilgrims will be able to select private Hajj packages through the ministry’s online system, allowing them to review available packages and services.
More than 71,000 pilgrims have reportedly been allocated to the private Hajj scheme. However, initial booking activity has remained below expectations, according to sources.
The latest deadline requires private operators to complete the package activation process on time to avoid losing their allocated quota and ensure preparations for pilgrims are completed without further delays.
