ISLAMABAD, September 30: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf on Wednesday reviewed preparations for Hajj 2027 and directed officials to complete all arrangements within the timelines set by Saudi authorities.
The minister chaired a review meeting on Hajj arrangements, where officials briefed him on ongoing preparations and the procurement of facilities in Saudi Arabia for Pakistani pilgrims.
Federal Secretary Abrar Ahmed Mirza, the additional secretary and officials of the Hajj Wing attended the meeting, while Director General Hajj Abdul Wahab Soomro, Director Hajj Makkah Arif Aslam Rao and other officials joined online from Saudi Arabia.
Sardar Muhammad Yousuf directed the concerned officials to ensure that all required facilities were arranged on time and made available to pilgrims before the start of Hajj operations.
He said all available resources should be used to provide quality services and facilities to Pakistani pilgrims.
The minister also stressed close coordination among relevant departments and officials to avoid delays and ensure smooth implementation of Hajj-related arrangements.
