In the Bhakkar district of Punjab, a groom’s long garland made of currency notes became the center of attention at a wedding. According to reports, a 35-foot-long garland of currency notes was prepared for the groom at a wedding ceremony in Bhakkar.
A resident of Kotla Jam in Bhakkar had the 35-foot-long garland made as a gift for his brother’s wedding. The garland, valued at one hundred thousand rupees, is made up of 200 notes of 75 rupees and 1,700 notes of 50 rupees.
