The Minister of Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain announced a refund from 20,000 to 140,000 RS for pilgrims who played Hajj last year.
During Tuesday’s press conference, the Minister said: “I want to share good news with a nation. We return money to all pilgrims who carried out Hajj last year. Refunds will range from 20,000 to 140,000 Rs and continue to provide the best equipment for Hajj. The cost of this year’s Hajj did not increase. ”
He also stressed that the Hajj package offered by Pakistan is the most affordable in the world.
Other minister of religious matters provided further details on compensation, which specifies that some pilgrims will receive up to 140,000 RS, while others receive amounts of up to 20,000 Rs.
Three percent of pilgrims will receive 140,000 Rs, 23 percent receive 75,000 Rs and 3,000 pilgrims receive 50,000 Rs. He added that if savings are also carried out in this year’s Hajj process, they will be returned to pilgrims.
Hussain also said that the number of applications for Hajj this year is almost identical to the number of last year.
While the short Hajj package was 1.075 million RS1.075 million last year, this year it will be 1.05 million RS, making it the most affordable game in the world compared to global rates and the current exchange rate of the dollar.
The Minister also mentioned that the government quota Hajj was filled in and no other applications would be accepted. However, the quota for suffering remains available.
Hussain also appreciated the cooperation from the Minister of Saudi Arabia Hajj, dr. Tawfiqa al-Rabiah, noted that no other country received such extensive support for measures of Hajj.
