All Pakistan Government Employees Confederation Coordinator General Habibullah Khan Umarzai met with Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Babar Saleem Swati at the Speaker’s House to apprise him of concerns regarding the increase in employee allowances in the provincial budget, digital payment of minimum wage to workers, and cuts in widow’s pension. In the meeting, he expressed concern over the provincial government’s proposal to increase the disparity allowance by five percent. The Chief Coordinator said in this regard that due to the negligence of the Labor Secretary and Director, the rights of workers and employees working in private institutions, factories, plazas, and security companies are being exploited. He also gave a detailed briefing to the Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on the concerns raised by the employees, under which employees across the province have announced to protest in front of the assembly. On this occasion, Sepkar Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Babar Saleem Swati has assured to resolve the problems of the employees.
