Gold Prices Rise in Global and Local Markets

Gold prices increased in both international and local markets on Saturday, with the global bullion rate rising by $43.70 per ounce.

According to market rates, the international price of gold reached $4,219 per ounce after the latest increase.

In Pakistan’s local bullion markets, the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs4,370 per tola to reach Rs444,336.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs3,933, reaching Rs379,880.

Silver prices also moved higher in the local market. The price of silver rose by Rs200 per tola to Rs7,279, while the rate for 10 grams increased by Rs171 to Rs6,199.

Gold and silver prices in Pakistan are influenced by international bullion rates, exchange-rate movements and local market demand.
