Gold prices hit Rs491,462 per tola in Pakistan on April 6 after global uptick

ISLAMABAD, Apr 6, 2026 — Gold prices in Pakistan rose sharply on Monday, with 24-karat gold per tola increasing by Rs1,100 to Rs491,462, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The increase comes after gold prices remained unchanged at Rs490,362 per tola on April 5, following a stable trend since April 4, indicating a fresh upward movement in the market.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs943 to Rs421,349, while 22-karat gold rose by Rs864 to Rs386,250.

In the international market, gold prices gained $11 to reach $4,687 per ounce, supporting the rise in domestic bullion rates.

Meanwhile, silver prices declined. Silver per tola dropped by Rs50 to Rs7,744, while the price of 10 grams decreased by Rs43 to Rs6,639. Globally, silver fell by $0.50 to $72.60 per ounce.
