KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan climbed sharply on Monday, August 24, 2026, with the price of 24-karat gold rising by Rs4,200 per tola to Rs487,136 amid another increase in the international bullion market.
The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs3,601 to Rs417,640 on Monday, extending the upward trend in the domestic market.

The latest increase followed continued strength in international gold prices, where the precious metal gained $42 to reach $4,646 per ounce.
Strong demand in international and domestic markets continued to support gold prices, pushing local rates higher.
Silver prices, meanwhile, remained unchanged on August 24.
The international silver price held steady at $69 per ounce, while silver remained unchanged at Rs7,379 per tola in the local market.
The price of 10 grams of silver also stayed unchanged at Rs6,326.
The latest rates mean buyers in Pakistan are paying Rs487,136 for one tola of gold and Rs417,640 for 10 grams as of Monday, August 24, 2026.
