KARACHI, August 8, 2026: Gold prices in Pakistan increased for the fourth consecutive day on Friday, with the rate of 24-karat gold rising by Rs2,200 per tola amid continued strength in the international bullion market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of one tola of gold climbed to Rs456,536, compared with Rs454,336 in the previous session.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs1,887, reaching Rs391,406.
Gold Prices Extend Four-Day Rally
The latest increase marked the fourth straight session of gains in the domestic gold market, keeping prices at historically elevated levels.
Gold rates in Pakistan generally track movements in the international bullion market, along with changes in the rupee-dollar exchange rate and local demand.
In the global market, gold rose by $22 per ounce to reach $4,341 per ounce.
The continued increase in bullion prices has raised concerns among jewellery buyers and investors, particularly as wedding-season demand and economic uncertainty continue to influence the local market.
