Gold price in Pakistan increased to Rs523,762 per tola on Tuesday, recovering from the previous session when rates had dropped to Rs522,762, according to data from the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The latest increase reflects a rebound in both local and international markets after a brief decline, with global bullion prices also moving higher.

Local market update

The price of 24-carat gold per tola rose by Rs1,000 from Monday’s rate of Rs522,762 to Rs523,762.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs857 to Rs449,041, compared to the previous session.

Global market trend

In the international market, gold prices increased by $10 per ounce to reach $5,010, supporting the upward movement in domestic rates.

Silver prices also rise

Silver prices also recorded gains in the local market. The price per tola increased by Rs128 to Rs8,569, while the rate for 10 grams rose by Rs110 to Rs7,346.

The latest changes indicate continued movement in precious metals, influenced by trends in global bullion markets.
