The domestic bullion market has experienced extreme volatility in recent days, driven by fluctuations in the international gold market, currency movements and strong safe-haven demand.

Internationally, gold prices remained elevated, providing continued support to domestic rates. Analysts say movements in the US dollar, interest-rate expectations and geopolitical uncertainty continue to influence investor sentiment.

Gold prices in Pakistan are closely linked to global bullion trends, as the metal is traded internationally in US dollars and reflected locally after currency adjustments.

As global uncertainty persists, gold prices in Pakistan are expected to remain sensitive to international cues, with traders closely monitoring developments for the next direction.
