Karachi: Gold price in Pakistan remained unchanged at Rs523,762 per tola on Wednesday, following a recent increase in the previous trading session, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The steady trend reflects a pause in short-term market movement after a modest recovery in rates.

A day earlier, gold prices had risen to Rs523,762 per tola from Rs522,762, indicating a rebound before stabilising at the current level. The price of 10 grams of gold also held steady at Rs449,041.
In the international market, gold prices remained unchanged at $5,010 per ounce, pointing to limited volatility in global bullion markets.
Silver shows slight decline
While gold prices stabilised, silver rates in Pakistan recorded a marginal decline. The per tola price of silver fell by Rs75 to Rs8,494, reflecting minor adjustments in the local market.
The latest data suggests that gold has entered a short phase of stability after recent fluctuations, while silver continues to move in response to changing demand patterns.
