KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan continued their downward trend on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, as the price of 24-karat gold fell by another Rs800 per tola following a decline in international bullion rates. Silver prices also decreased in the local market.
According to the latest bullion market figures, gold dropped to Rs437,336 per tola, compared with Rs438,136 recorded on Monday.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold declined by Rs686 to Rs374,945, down from Rs375,631 a day earlier.
In the international bullion market, gold fell by $8 per ounce to $4,148, compared with $4,156 on Monday, September 28.

Gold extends losses after Monday’s sharp decline
Tuesday’s decrease followed a much steeper fall on Monday, September 28, 2026, when gold prices in Pakistan plunged by Rs12,800 per tola to Rs438,136.
The price of 10 grams of gold had also dropped by Rs10,973 to Rs375,631 on Monday, while international gold declined by $128 per ounce to $4,156.
With Tuesday’s additional reduction, the price of gold in Pakistan has fallen by Rs13,600 per tola over the two trading sessions, from Rs450,936 before Monday’s decline to Rs437,336.
The international gold price has also decreased by a combined $136 per ounce over the same period.
The two-day decline comes amid continued fluctuations in international bullion markets, against a backdrop of geopolitical uncertainty and tensions involving the United States and Iran.
Silver prices also decline in Pakistan
Silver followed gold’s downward movement on Tuesday, with the price of silver falling by Rs20 per tola to Rs6,558.
The price of 10 grams of silver also decreased by Rs17 to Rs5,622.
The latest figures show that both precious metals recorded losses in Pakistan’s bullion markets during Tuesday’s trading.
