KARACHI: Gold prices fell sharply in Pakistan on Sunday, with 24-karat gold losing Rs4,300 per tola as international bullion rates also moved lower.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold declined to Rs436,336 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also dropped by Rs3,687 to Rs374,087.
Silver prices moved lower as well, with the price of one tola falling by Rs56 to Rs6,522.
In the international market, gold declined by $43 per ounce to $4,138.
The fall in local bullion prices came alongside weakness in the global market, reflecting the direct impact of international gold movements on domestic rates.
