Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has decided to feature in the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League after opting out of the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
PSL franchise Hyderabad Kingsmen confirmed the development, announcing that Maxwell has officially signed with the team and will represent the side in PSL 11.
“Hyderabad Kingsmen have signed Australian star Glenn Maxwell for PSL 11. He will represent our franchise in the upcoming season,” the franchise said in a statement.

Maxwell expressed his excitement about joining the Pakistan-based league and representing the Hyderabad side.
“I am happy to be part of the Pakistan Super League and to represent Hyderabad. I have always received a lot of love from Pakistan. It is an honour to represent the Hyderabad team. See you in PSL,” Maxwell said.
The hard-hitting all-rounder’s inclusion is expected to enhance the competitiveness and international appeal of PSL 11, which is likely to feature several prominent overseas players.
